How to Keep your Fascia Healthy


If you missed the post about what fascia is, scroll down one. This post is going to focus on how to maintain healthy fascia. Fascia plays a substantial role in our flexibility and overall range of motion. Fascia manipulation is also a key component to body contouring.


  • Static stretching and/or Dynamic stretching can be used to increase or maintain healthy mobility. Foam rolling is another tool you can use to keep your fascia healthy

  • Movement. Dormant tissue becomes stiff and tends to bind together creating adhesions which can decrease your mobility and also contribute to the appearance of cellulite

  • Hydration. Dehydration causes the fascia to harden, which also can contribute to adhesion formation.

  • Wood therapy: wood therapy is my bread and butter and one of my favorite ways to not only maintain healthy fascia, but also remodel it to actually reduce waist circumference and get rid of cellulite altogether while relaxing your nervous system and improving the quality of your sleep.

  • Fascia blasting. Fascia blasters are a tool that have clinically backed evidence to support their roll in increasing the production of collagen and elastin within the fascia, reducing the appearance of cellulite, and maintaining healthy blood flow.
